About Pets Market
Pets Market started operating in Saltcoats, North Ayrshire late 2008 by acquiring a previous pet store within the Indoor market in the same town. There had been a pet supply store within this market from its inception around 20 years beforehand. The 2 previous owners had been successful in that environment however did not expand.
Present owner Mr Scott Mould decided that despite a global recession, it was obvious there was a need to expand this business in order to meet the needs of the local community of the 3 Towns Area of Ardrossan, Saltcoats & Stevenston, and the surrounding areas. In October 2009 a new unit was acquired at 31 Hamilton Street, Saltcoats. This was on the main shopping street but within 500 yds of the Indoor Market and as such existing customers of the previous 20 years or so would not have to travel far. The new store is 5 times the size of the market store and as such the range increased massively. A further store was opened in Kilwinning in 2011. Both stores now stock a vast range of the following top selling brands, and unlike the Supermarkets, can order anything you need. As well as the brands listed below we also stock a massive variety of other foods, bedding, leads, collars, fashion, coats and toys for all your pet needs. We also stock frozen and live foods for lizards and snakes.

The pet supplies market is huge and its impossible to stock everything, however, IF WE DON’T HAVE IT WE’LL GET IT! and at a price you can trust – on top of that we will even deliver it FREE! What more can you ask? We have grown this local business by listening and responding to our customers needs and meeting them and look forward to doing the same for many years to come”

Grooming Service
We are also very pleased to offer our grooming service Pets Market Grooming at our new Parlour in Windmill Street, Saltcoats. A Breed Standard Grooming Service is available from our experienced groomers as well as a Wash & Brush Up service between main grooms to keep your Best Friend looking his or her best. Nail Clipping Service is also available, usually on a walk in basis.
